自己紹介:
I was born in Apeldoorn, Netherlands, on 10 December 1908. After graduating from the Gymnasium Apeldoorn and the University of Groningen (Rijksuniversiteit Groningen), I became a pastor of the Dutch Reformed Church (Nederlandse Hervormde Kerk). I served at two local churches (Kubbard and Hilversum). After World War II, in 1947, I became a professor at Utrecht University, Faculty of Theology (Rijksuniversiteit Utrecht, faculteit van Godgeleerdheid). During my lifetime, I wrote many books and essays. The publication project of my new Collected Works (Verzameld Werk) started in September 2007.
